Luxury gite in Northern France for 2 incl pool, spa & dinner

Just 1 hour 15 minutes from Paris, welcome to the serene surroundings of the Château d’Omiécourt estate, care of owners Thibaut and Tiphaine. They really have taken care of everything so that you can detach from life, quit the rushing about for once, and more importantly enjoy heaps of exceptional quality time together.

The whole weekend is designed so that you can pamper yourselves in total privacy, starting with the accommodation in the ‘Domice’ gite – split-level, modern, zen, and in an annexe of the chateau. As you might expect, there’s a gorgeous bedroom and a well-equipped kitchen, but what you might NOT expect is that the luxury gite has its very own PRIVATE hot tub and sauna, so that you can immerse yourself in complete relaxation.

And what about all those extras? Firstly, there’s the homemade organic breakfast delivered to your door including cereals, homemade yoghurt, local cheese, jam, spread and local apple juice. Simply say what time you’d like it to magically appear – and it will! Dinner in your gite just for you two is also included!

As well as your own private spa facilities, use of the chateau’s is also included. There’s one indoor pool and one outdoor pool, plus a steam room and outdoor ‘Nordic bath’ style hot tub – and what better view could you have from it than 40 acres of fields, horses and woods? If you’d prefer your view to be the floor of a treatment room, just let Dominique and Véronique know in advance; they can arrange a really special essential oils massage for you!

Location wise, Château d’Omiécourt couldn’t be better placed, both for convenience (it’s really close to the A1 motorway) and for sightseeing close by. Those sights include the Art Deco gem that is the town of Albert just 20 minutes away. It’s right at the heart of the WW1 remembrance trail, so expect some really poignant places of interest nearby, the most powerful of which could be the skyscraping Thiepval memorial inscribed with no less than 72,000 names of WW1’s missing. Albert is also the home of the Somme 1916 underground museum, or there are trenches to see over in Beaumont-Hamel. All around, the landscapes in this part of France are a sight to behold – with waterways, small islands, and walking routes to guide you on an immersive journey in nature. Whatever you decide to do, you can rest assured that a stay at Château d’Omiécourt, with plenty of quality time together, will refresh you in all senses.
