- Hauts-de-France tourism - About us
As a non-profit organisation promoting inbound tourism to the Hauts-de-France region since 1987, you are guaranteed truly impartial advice.
With a dedicated team of insiders working exclusively on helping British visitors to make the most of their time in Northern France, our job is to meet our locals, try out the activities and visit the accommodation in order to put together tailor-made weekend-break experiences that tick all your boxes, show you the very best of our beloved region (formerly known as Picardy and Nord-Pas de Calais) and entice you to come back time and again, particularly as we are just over the Channel! The hosts featured on this website are looking forward to welcoming you (in English if you prefer!). We’d also like to mention that we’re offering you these places to stay / experiences to enjoy as genuine recommendations, as we don’t charge accommodation hosts for being listed on our website.
Our aim is to showcase the very best of our Food & Drink, Culture, History and Art de Vivre, whether you’re heading over as a couple, or with the kids or grandchildren. Hauts de France tourism is the opportunity to meet locals and to discover WW1 remembrance sites and areas of unspoilt natural beauty, so we’ll summarise all that for you and handpick what’s most relevant so that you can mix, match and enjoy it your own way!
Hauts-de-France region includes Aisne, Nord, Oise, Pas-de-Calais, Somme departments. The capital is Lille. Discover our top Northern France destinations such as: Calais, Montreuil-sur-mer, Arras, Boulogne-sur-mer, Amiens...
