Flavours of France - Maroilles cheese tart
Yeast dough (home-made is so much better and pleasant to watch it rise from the fireside) with thin strips of Maroilles cheese laid on top (with its golden rind). Cook for 20 minutes and enjoy! Time to sit down at the table and tuck in to this quiche washed down by a local beer…

INGREDIENTS
1/2 Maroilles cheese (380 g) ● 200 g flour ● 1 mug lukewarm milk ● 2 eggs ● 10 g baker’s yeast ● 80 g butter ● 1 pinch of salt
DEVELOPMENT
Dilute the yeast dough by mixing the two eggs with the flour. Add the melted butter. Beat and add the yeast to the lukewarm milk. Stretch out the dough in a buttered pie dish, leave to rise for an hour at room temperature. When the dough has risen, fill it completely with thin strips of the Maroilles cheese. Put in a hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes
