- Rose Garden of Rambures
Inspired by the Middle Ages, the rose garden of this extraordinary park invites you to see and smell around 500 ancient and modern species, while the fern garden entices you to make an entirely different journey of botanical discovery. In the wider parkland, ancient trees – mostly from America and Asia, including a redwood, a black walnut and a Chinese white mulberry – provide a suitably impressive setting for the distinctive brick-built fortress with its rounded towers.
The parkland and castle are open from March to mid-November, or by appointment the rest of the year.
